CLIMBING ARBORIST JOB DUTIES

• Climbing trees, with main focus on climber and co-worker safety

• Physically able to climb, rig and prune/remove trees daily

• Identify various native and non-native trees

 

GROUND ARBORIST JOB DUTIES

• Run rigging ropes to lower branches safely to the ground.

• Use and maintain chainsaws (all are Sthil)

• Operate chipper

• Tie various knots or able to learn

• Drag brush, lift logs and some heavy equipment

• Install a rope and fell a tree

• Properly prune trees from ground with hand saw or pole saw

• Identify various native and non-native trees

License:
